When last we left Woodruff Park, the city had shut her down for some $30,000 worth of repairs supposedly necessitated by the actions of Occupy Atlanta while they were encamped there. We recently saw the first announcement of an event in the park since.
The Bezalel Church, a small congregation that meets at downtown’s The Balzer Theater at Herren’s (the home of Theatrical Outfit), is hosting a dog party at Woodruff Park on Saturday, March 31st from 10 AM to 2 PM. There will be vets for check-ups (although I’m not sure how many of our canine friends would call that a party), a costume contest, a dog/owner look-alike contest, and of course, TREATS!!!
